Job summary
The Hygienic Assistant will be part of the Head Office support team. The Hygienic Assistant will support office cleaning and maintenance of a safe environment, managing staff meals, running errands, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.) Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.

- Sweeping, mopping, or washing of the floors, sinks, toilets, tubs, garage entryway, and counters.
- Vacuuming the house and everything in it - including rugs, upholstery, carpets, and furniture.
- Dusting of surfaces such as the furniture and window sills.
- Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.)

- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs.
- Stock and maintain cleaning of supply rooms.

- Clean commercial buildings by emptying trash cans, servicing restrooms, and wiping down communal surfaces.
- Ensure outside walkways remain clear and free of debris.
- Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately.
- Ensure he or she follows and adopts ISO requirements.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
- Assist in drafting cleaning reports.
- Ensure you operate with full PPE and in company uniforms.
- Display integrity and honesty at the office and client premises.
- Respect fellow workers and display high levels of customer care.
- Ensure high levels of personal hygiene.
- Time keeping at the office and the client’s premises is of the essence.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Avail yourself to attend all cleaning training.
