DJ – Bar & Events (Part-Time)
Job summary
PLM Enterprises operates a vibrant bar and event space in Najjera serving local customers and private event clients. We are seeking a professional DJ who can drive atmosphere, increase bar sales, and support event growth.
Job descriptions & requirements
The DJ will be responsible for delivering high-energy entertainment, increasing customer engagement, supporting event bookings, and contributing to overall bar revenue growth. This is a performance-oriented role requiring creativity, consistency, and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engaging music entertainment during operating hours and event
- Create themed nights to increase customer traffic
- Identify and collaborate with event partners and promoters
- Support external event bookings and promotional activities
- Maintain cleanliness and proper care of DJ equipment and working area
- Coordinate with bar team to align entertainment with sales strategy
Performance Expectations
- Increased bar attendance and customer retention
- Successful themed nights or events hosted monthly
- Revenue growth during DJ-managed shifts
- Professional conduct and punctuality
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a DJ (portfolio or sample mix required)
- Strong understanding of local audience preferences
- Ability to engage and energize crowds
- Flexible and available for long working hours
- Responsible and reliable
Compensation & Benefits
- UGX 250,000 per month
- 10% commission on total profits generated from confirmed external event activities
Working Conditions
- Part time (6 PM to 6 AM)
- Long hours including weekends and holidays
