Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Design and enforce HR strategies in sync with Eversend's business objectives.
- KPI Implementation: Introduce, monitor, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) for all roles, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Performance Management: Hold employees accountable by routinely tracking performance metrics and providing constructive feedback.
- Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead recruitment, onboarding, and exit processes to ensure the company attracts and retains the right talent.
- Accountability and Discipline: Implement disciplinary procedures and, when necessary, manage the termination of employment to protect company values and ensure legal compliance.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a bridge between employees and management, resolving conflicts, and fostering a harmonious work environment.
- Compliance: Stay abreast of employment regulations and best practices, ensuring company-wide adherence.
- Training and Development: Oversee professional development initiatives, making sure the team is equipped to meet their KPIs and contribute to company growth.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Drive initiatives that promote a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
- Global Alignment: Collaborate with teams in Lagos, Nairobi, New York, and London to ensure consistent HR strategies and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are a plus.
- 3-5 years in HR, preferably in fintech, banking, or related sectors.
- Proficiency in HRMS and talent acquisition tools.
- Demonstrated experience in KPI development, tracking, and employee accountability.
- Strong understanding of global labor laws and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven multitasking abilities with a knack for meeting tight deadlines.
- Leadership acumen, driving collaboration and innovation.
