Job summary
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth for our portfolio of software products and hardware solutions. This is a high-impact, hunter role with significant earning potential directly tied to performance.
Job descriptions & requirements
Marketing
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns (email, digital, content) to generate qualified leads for software and hardware solutions.
- Create compelling sales collateral, case studies, and product battle cards that differentiate our offerings in a competitive market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on SEO/SEM, social media strategy, and webinar programs to build a pipeline.
- Analyse campaign performance and market data to refine messaging and identify high-potential segments.
- Support channel partners with co-marketing materials and lead-sharing initiatives.
Sales & Business Development
- Actively manage and convert inbound marketing leads into qualified opportunities.
- Prospect and hunt for new business through strategic outbound efforts (cold calling, LinkedIn, networking).
- Conduct full-cycle sales activities: discovery calls, product demos, solution design, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop proposals and ROI models that articulate the combined value of our software/hardware solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers, from technical evaluators to C-suite executives.
Strategic Growth & Partnership
- Identify new channel partners, resellers, and system integrators.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategy for new product launches and feature releases
Qualifications & Skills
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
Experience:
- 1 - 4 years in a hybrid sales & marketing role, or demonstrable experience successfully contributing to both functions within a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas in a commission-based role.
- Experience marketing and selling both tangible products (hardware/IoT) and intangible solutions (software/SaaS) is highly desirable.
- Background in an IT-based company is a plus.

- Commercial Driver: Self-motivated hunter who also enjoys building strategic, long-term relationships.

- Technical Translator: Can learn complex product details and articulate business value to different audiences.
- Tools: Proficient with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), marketing automation, and sales enablement platforms.
