Role Summary:
The Accounts & Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the organisation’s financial operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative functions. The role combines basic accounting, financial record-keeping, and general office administration to support efficiency, compliance, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts & Finance Duties:
• Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts
• Maintain accurate financial records, cashbooks, and filing systems
• Support bank reconciliations and petty cash management
• Assist in budget tracking and expenditure monitoring
• Support preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and suppliers when required
Administrative Duties:
• Manage office supplies, assets, and inventory records
• Provide general office support, including filing, correspondence, and record management
• Coordinate travel, meetings, and logistical arrangements
• Support procurement processes, including requisitions and supplier documentation
• Maintain staff records and assist with basic HR administration
• Ensure proper documentation and archiving of organisational records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in a similar accounts and administration role
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
