Accounts Assistant
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and assist with reporting.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare invoices and monitor payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting.
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
