Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in JavaScript frameworks to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end solutions that drive our products forward, from frontend user interfaces to backend server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate business objectives into functional software solutions.
• Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using backend frameworks like Node.js, Express.js, to power our applications with robust server-side logic and data processing capabilities.
• Architect and optimise database schemas and queries for efficient data storage and retrieval, leveraging technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Redis..
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in full-stack development, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our technology stack and development processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in production-level React development, including component-based architecture, state management, and UI/UX design principles.
• Solid understanding of backend development concepts and production experience with Node.js and Express.js, including asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and database integration.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including database design, optimization, and ORM libraries.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
• Experience with deploying and maintaining applications on AWS
• Experience integrating 3rd party APIs
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence are a plus.
