UTCL is located along the Kampala Jinja highway near Lugazi municipal council in Buikwe district, approximately 48 kilometers from Kampala City and 40 Kilometers from Jinja opposite Mt ST Mary’s College, Namagunga.
Company Main Activities
The company mainly deals in the production of tea, where 80% of the sales are for the international market and the local market 20%. Made Tea is exported to Mombasa in Kenya to the Auction market with other tea companies around East Africa, and is sold thereafter. The company also deals with other activities, which include afforestation, coffee, cocoa, and Bananas.
UTCL produces over 3.5 million kilos of tea annually, 10% of Uganda’s national output

Job Summary
The IT Officer will manage and maintain IT systems, network infrastructure, cybersecurity controls, and user support services to ensure reliable and secure technology operations across the organization.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with practical experience in networking, system administration, and cybersecurity.
Female gender and Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Salary range: Ugx. 500,000-600,000
