Job Description/Requirements

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers.


Responsibilities


1. Lead market promotion and sales of photovoltaic energy storage products (e.g., inverters, storage batteries) in Uganda.

2. Identify customer needs and maintain relationships with local distributors, installers, and project stakeholders.

3. Follow up sales leads and organize technical exchanges, product demos, and solution proposals.

4. Coordinate with technical teams to provide pre-sales solutions and basic after-sales support.

5. Analyze market data, monitor competitors, and propose local expansion strategies.

6. Assist in developing sales strategies, pricing policies, and annual targets.

7. Support bid document preparation, contract negotiations, and project coordination.

8. Submit regular sales reports to reflect customer needs, market trends, and enhance brand presence.



Qualifications


  1. A university degree or above, with priority given to relevant majors such as electricity, electronics, automation, new energy, and marketing.
  2. At least 1 year of local sales or technical experience in the photovoltaic, energy storage, or power industry; those with mature customer resources will be preferred.
  3. Familiar with photovoltaic systems, energy storage products, and local electricity-related policies and market environments.
  4. Strong customer communication skills, business negotiation abilities, and execution capabilities.
  5. Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Willing to travel within Uganda and to neighboring countries, with strong self-motivation and stress tolerance.
  7. Ability to independently complete the sales cycle, from customer development and demand confirmation to contract signing and delivery follow-up.
