Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee sales transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing and payment processing.

• Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and follow up on collections.

• Negotiate payment plans with clients to facilitate timely settlements.

• Maintain accurate financial records and update account statuses regularly


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

• 7+ years of Proven experience in construction project financial management and accounting and Strong background in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

• Additional certifications in credit management, financial analysis, or sales strategy are a plus.


Technical Skills:

• Accounting software proficiency (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero).

• Financial analysis for tracking overdue payments and forecasting revenue.

• CRM systems for managing customer interactions and payment histories.

• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills for handling payment disputes.

• Data reporting tools (Excel, Power BI) for financial tracking and analysis


Additional Skills:

• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with credit policies.

• Resolve billing disputes and address customer concerns professionally.

• Prepare collection reports and provide insights on outstanding debts.

• Implement strategies to improve payment recovery rates.


Reporting Structure:

The operation manager will report directly to the Finance manager and collaborate closely with site and office engineers, architects, operators and other members of the company’s team.
