Sales Agent

Location: Rubaga, Kampala, Uganda

Reports To: Sales and Marketing Officer / Branch Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote SACCO products and services (loans, savings, memberships) to prospective and existing clients.
• Recruit new members and guide them through the registration and onboarding process.
• Conduct market outreach and community sensitization activities to raise awareness about SACCO benefits.
• Meet set sales targets and contribute to branch growth objectives.
• Provide accurate product information and respond to customer inquiries.
• Collect client feedback and report market trends to supervisors.
• Assist members with application forms and necessary documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and referrals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE); a Diploma in Business, Marketing, Microfinance, or related field is an added advantage.
• Experience in field sales, microfinance, or community-based marketing is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with SACCO operations and financial inclusion principles is an asset.
• Fluency in English and Luganda is preferred.
• Must be a resident or familiar with Rubaga and surrounding areas.
