Key Responsibilities:
Cooking:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes (North and/or South Indian preferred)
- Plan weekly menus with the employer (optional)
- Grocery shopping or preparing a list of needed ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Reheat or pack meals if required
Housekeeping:
- Clean and maintain all areas of the house (sweeping, mopping, dusting)
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchenware
- Laundry and ironing
- Make beds and change linens
Requirements:
- Organise and declutter living spaces
- Prior experience as a maid and/or cook in a household
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and spices
- Ability to follow specific dietary or taste preferences
- Trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to understand and communicate in [language spoken at home – e.g., Hindi, English, Tamil]
- References from previous employers preferred
