Ensure efficiency, cleanliness, friendliness, and excellent service to guests, particularly in food and beverage service. Work collaboratively with other staff, especially waiters and chefs.


Duties, Responsibilities, and Performance Standards
Daily Responsibilities
  • Organize work schedules for staff in your department.
  • Ensure all waiters maintain the cleanliness of dining tables, resting tents, fire areas, and all surrounding workspaces.
  • Supervise all activities and monitor beverage usage to ensure sustainable profitability.
  • Ensure guests are served promptly at all times. No guest should remain without a drink unless by personal choice.
  • Prepare all beverages in the morning when guests are away to allow proper cooling time. Maintain a clear schedule for opening the store.
  • Maintain cleanliness and a neat appearance at all times.
  • Always wear the designated uniform and name badge.
  • Be present at the front area when guests arrive for meals or drinks before meals. No guest should wait for a waiter to arrive.
  • Be helpful, polite, and friendly to guests. Engage in light conversation when appropriate, with a smile and a cheerful attitude.
  • As Head Waiter, ensure your department adheres to high standards of service delivery, dress code, cleanliness, and guest relations.
  • Handle work equipment carefully. Report any damage to the camp manager and maintenance head immediately for prompt repairs.
  • Keep a logbook for reporting broken or damaged items such as glasses, jugs, plates, etc. This is essential to maintain adequate stock.
  • Ensure daily compliance with the availability of reading materials in the library.
  • Work according to time schedules. Set tables appropriately before meal times based on guest numbers. Ensure sufficient chilled beverages are available. Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of dining and resting areas, polished tables, clean linens, neat curtains, and spotless glasses.
  • All waiters must know the menu and wine pairings for each meal. Consult the chef for details to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Take individual orders based on guest preferences and ensure accurate service.
  • Meet with the manager daily for updates on new arrivals and any special events.
  • Maintain good communication with chefs to ensure everyone is aware of plans and timings.
  • As department head, ensure all tasks are completed as per the work checklist.
  • Oversee proper use of company equipment.
  • Prepare and enforce daily shift schedules and ensure compliance by all staff.

Weekly Responsibilities
  • Ensure thorough cleaning of staff areas, guest dining areas, bar, and beverage storage (refrigerators).
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks of beverages used and remaining stock.
Monthly Responsibilities
  • Submit a written performance report to the camp manager regarding departmental operations.
  • Ensure all staff take scheduled leave and rest days, and communicate these to the manager.



General Duties
  • Ensure colleagues follow all established rules and procedures.
  • Maintain teamwork and cooperation.
  • Keep accurate records of departmental orders.
  • Execute any instructions from the camp manager.
  • Supervise staff and ensure regular training as needed.

Internal Relations
  • All employees must maintain respect and helpfulness at all times.
  • Avoid conflicts and disputes.
  • Keep senior management informed about departmental activities.
  • Implement and comply with directives from senior management.

Guest Satisfaction
  • Welcome and greet guests politely and treat them as friends at all times.
  • Fulfill all guest requirements as indicated in pre-arrival information promptly and accurately. Essential guest needs must be met during their stay.
