This position is primarily a field Engagement that includes creating and recruiting new Clients.


Qualifications, Skills & Experience 

• Degree, postgraduate or diploma in any discipline but preferably qualifications in Marketing, IT, Economics, Business, Statistics or sociology

• Minimum of three years proven marketing Experience in IT

• Have a wider knowledge of computer and internet operations.

• Self-directed and detail-oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and solid judgment and confidence. 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills and networking ability

• A team player able to work well in an energetic, dynamic, and deadline-oriented environment.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines.

• Must be willing to travel far and wide.

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude at all times;

• A team player, and one who is open to feedback and on-going self-development;

• IT skills with minimum experience in using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Commercial awareness of the industry

• A passion for sales and or Marketing as a Profession


Duties and Responsibilities 

• Identify and secure potential clients through direct and digital marketing and meetings. 

• Understanding the Product and Customer profile and writing thorough specs for each requirement

• Create innovative ways to build a business from individual accounts.

• Work with the sales team to identify opportunities for new markets and growth. 

• Perform up-selling and cross-selling of products to clients. 

• Conduct effective Product presentations for potential customers.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries/issues in a timely manner. 

• Preparation of Bids/Tender Documents and or Quotations.

• Effect timely deliveries to Clients and debt collection.

• Researching new market opportunities

• Researching new product areas for the company

• Conducting market research on rival products/ services and evaluating competition 

• Conducting market research to assess customer preferences and understand project requirements and objectives

• Any other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned to you from time to time.
