Job Summary
We are seeking results-driven, entry-level Loan Officers to actively acquire customers, evaluate applications, and aggressively grow our Clients credit portfolio products on car logbook financing and land mortgaging across Uganda. This field-based role serves as the primary growth engine for our Clients' Sales operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive daily outdoor field marketing activities to recruit new individual borrowers, to onboard a high volume of customers, and meet demanding monthly sales targets.
- Collect authentic Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, collateral records, and bank statements from prospective borrowers.
- Provide financial literacy education to borrowers to ensure continuous and sustainable loan utilization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: At least a Uganda Certificate of Education (a Diploma or degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Commerce or a related qualification is an added advantage).
Experience: Experience in a sales and marketing role is an added advantage. Languages: Fluency in English (Fluency in major local languages spoken within the duty station is an added advantage).
Technology: Basic digital literacy to seamlessly upload field data and make loan submissions using smart devices.
Character: Uncompromising integrity, high-performance-oriented mindset able to work under tight deadlines, and persuasive communication skills capable of convincing firmly yet professionally.
