About the Role
Lecole Finance Ltd is seeking dynamic, self-driven, and community-oriented individuals to join our team as Loan Officers. This role is critical in assessing applicants’ credibility and determining the feasibility of granting loans, while upholding the company’s commitment to financial inclusion and responsible lending.


Key Responsibilities
• Product Promotion: Market Lecole Finance loan products by clearly explaining the available
credit options, terms, and benefits to potential clients.
• Field Verification: Conduct thorough verification of applicants’ business premises and residences before recommending loan approval.
• Application Assessment: Evaluate loan applications and supporting documents to confirm authenticity and eligibility.
• Loan Approval Support: Approve qualified loans and present them to the Branch Manager for final authorisation.
• Policy Communication: Inform clients of any new policies or changes and ensure timely implementation.
• Loan Recovery: Monitor and ensure timely repayment of disbursed loans within agreed timelines.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client information and loan documentation.
• Record Keeping: Update all necessary record books and systems promptly and accurately.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management in line with the role.


Qualifications & Competencies
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from a recognised institution (no prior experience required).
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Strong writing and reporting skills.
• Excellent networking and influencing abilities.
• Ability to communicate fluently in local languages applicable to the program area.
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and dependability in previous roles or academic settings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to reside within the Program Area to ensure close community engagement and follow-up.
