Finance Assistant

Mukono-based Starfly Steel (Uganda) Company has built up a win-win platform between premium quality mills and clients, as evidenced by convenient transportation, an intellectual marketing network,  a powerful warehousing, processing, and distribution system, and an abundant supply chain management experience. It provides all sorts of international standard steel processing and distribution services as demanded by clients. The company has a wide array of industrial products on offer, including hot rolled coil,  hot rolled steel plate, H-beam, channel steel, angle steel, welding rod, hollow sections, and so on. 

The Finance Assistant reports directly to the Finance Manager. The incumbent is responsible for data entry and receiving money. 

1) The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. 

2) The minimum level of experience required is less than 0-1 year of experience in a busy office, and the age limit is 22-30 years of age. 

3) Ability to work independently with little supervision 

4) Good knowledge of accounting practices, Policies and procedures. 

5) Knowledge of ERP Accounting System 

6) Good communication skills, honest, trustworthy, and good interpersonal skills. 

7) Good Excel and computer skills, and knowledge are an added advantage.
