Job summary

The Finance and Administration Officer is a dual-function role responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization. You will manage the full accounting cycle—from accounts payable/receivable to tax compliance—while ensuring that office operations and staff administration run smoothly.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities


Financial Management

  • Cash Flow & Banking: Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage expenditure to ensure budget alignment.
  • Accounts Ledger: Full-cycle management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including timely invoice generation and debt collection.
  • Payroll & Taxes: Oversee payroll processing and ensure all statutory tax filings and payments are completed accurately and on time.
  • Loan & Asset Tracking: Manage the company’s loan portfolio and maintain an up-to-date asset register, overseeing depreciation and maintenance schedules.
  • Vendor Relations: Manage vendor contracts, verify statements, and ensure timely payments to maintain strong supplier relationships.

Administration & Operations

  • Staff Administration: Support HR functions including maintaining employee records, onboarding, and tracking leave or benefits.
  • Office Oversight: Direct daily office operations, including procurement of supplies, facility maintenance, and administrative support for the team.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 years of experience in a combined finance and admin role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of local tax laws, knowledge of EFRIS, labor regulations, and financial reporting standards.
