Job Summary

The Kotai Equipment Field Service Representative (FSR) provides on-site technical support, maintenance, and training for Kotai construction engineering equipment deployed at Client locations worldwide. The FSR ensures operational readiness, troubleshoots issues, conducts repairs, and trains Client personnel on equipment usage and maintenance.

Job Description/Requirements

1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures in Kotai engineering equipment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide remote technical assistance when on-site presence is not required.

2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

  • Perform scheduled maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and tear, ensuring compliance with KOTAI operational standards.
  • Document maintenance activities and submit service reports.

3. Equipment Commissioning & Training

  • Assist in the setup and commissioning of new equipment at client sites.
  • Conduct operator and maintenance training (theory + hands-on) in English (mandatory) and optionally in French, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, or Chinese.
  • Issue training certificates upon successful completion.

4. Spare Parts & Logistics Support

  • Identify and order required spare parts using Kotai’s electronic catalogue.
  • Ensure timely delivery of emergency spare parts (within 72 hours for critical components).
  • Maintain an inventory of fast-moving spare parts at Client locations.

5. Warranty & Post-Repair Inspections

  • Process warranty claims and coordinate with Kotai’s technical team.
  • Conduct pre- and post-repair inspections within 10 days as per Client requirements.
  • Ensure all warranty repairs comply with Kotai’s standards.

6. Compliance & Reporting

  • Adhere to Mude Mabone and KOTAI safety and operational protocols.
  • Submit detailed service reports, including failure analysis and recommended improvements.
  • Escalate critical issues to After-Sales Support Manager.
