Electrician

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Installation and Maintenance: Installing and assembling of machines, factories, outlets, control systems, and lighting.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Identifying and resolving electrical issues, replacing faulty parts, and repairing equipment.
• Inspecting and Testing: Ensuring compliance with codes and regulations by inspecting circuit breakers and other components.
• Reading and Interpreting: Understanding blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair.
• Using Tools: Utilizing hand and power tools, as well as testing devices, for various tasks.
• Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures when working with electricity.
• Collaboration: Working with other technicians and engineers to optimize systems.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Skills Required:

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems effectively.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for working with electricity.
• Blueprint and Schematic Reading: Ability to interpret and apply information from diagrams and blueprints.
• Tool Proficiency: Skill in using hand and power tools, as well as testing devices.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and climbing.
• Communication and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with others

Qualification

• Must have at least a diploma in electrical engineering
• Experience installing factories, production lines for water, rice, wheat, maize etc. is an added advantage
• Computer knowledge is a plus
• Proficient interpersonal & communications skills
• Possession of a valid driving permit is a plus

Experience

• Must have 6 (six) plus years of experience
