Job Purpose
As our Digital Manager, you are the lead architect of our online narrative. Your primary objective is to showcase our exceptional experiential marketing work, positioning us as industry leaders and thought experts. You own the digital stage amplifying our brand's visibility, credibility, and influence. You will bridge the gap between physical activations and digital amplification, leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven insights to attract B2B clients and drive measurable business growth.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
● Digital Strategy ROI: Successful implementation and quarterly measurement of strategies that yield an increase in qualified B2B leads.
● Content Excellence: Maintaining the average engagement rate across all core social platforms.
● Innovation Integration: Deployment of at least one AI driven or emerging tech initiative (e.g., AR filters, AI content personalizers) per quarter.
● Reporting Compliance: 100% on-time delivery of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance audits.
● Audience Growth: Achieving quarterly increases in relevant industry followers and newsletter subscribers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Strategy, Innovation and Ownership
● Strategic Ownership: Develop, implement, and own the success of comprehensive digital marketing strategies. You are responsible for measuring and defending the ROI of these strategies every quarter.
● Innovation and AI: Actively research and implement "what's new" in digital spaces. Integrate AI tools for content optimization, community sentiment analysis, and interactive digital experiences.
● Decision Making: Own the selection of digital tools, platforms, and third party partnerships required to scale our digital footprint.
2. Content Creation and Calendar Management
● Workflow Mastery: Oversee the creation of high quality digital content (social, email, blogs) that positions Buzz Activate Uganda as a thought leader.
● Strict Scheduling: Manage a master digital content calendar. You are required to share the upcoming weekly calendar every Friday for the following week’s execution.
● Collaborative Quality: Partner with the creative team to ensure video and graphic assets meet the "Buzz Standard" of excellence.
3. Social Media and Community Leadership
● Engagement Strategy: Manage and grow our presence across all platforms, fostering a "solution oriented" community.
● Reputation Ownership: Monitor audience sentiment daily and address brand reputation concerns with decisive, proactive communication.
4. Reporting, Analytics and Performance
● Weekly Reports: Share a snapshot of weekly wins, engagement metrics, and the upcoming week's priorities with the department.
● Monthly Reports: Provide the Operations and Country Manager with a detailed analysis of asset performance, budget spend, and conversion data.
● Quarterly Strategic Reviews: Deliver a comprehensive quarterly report measuring the success of the overarching digital strategy against set business goals, adjusting the roadmap as necessary.
5. Budget and Resource Management
● ROI Maximization: Manage digital budgets with a focus on high-yield ad spend and resource efficiency.
● Cross-Functional Integration: Lead the "digital first" mindset across the agency, ensuring experiential campaigns are built for maximum digital amplification. Immediate Expectations (The First 90 Days):
● Day 30: Audit all existing digital assets and present a "Digital Innovation Roadmap" including AI integration.
● Day 60: Implement the finalized digital marketing strategy and launch the first data-backed lead generation campaign.
● Day 90: Achieve a 30% increase in social media engagement and deliver the first comprehensive Quarterly Performance Review.
