Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive multi-channel social media and blog strategy to enhance brand awareness, engagement and client acquisition
- Create, edit, publish and share compelling and visually appealing content (e.g. original text, images, videos and other media)
- Manage the content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, Tik Tok, Blog, Email).
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
- Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Provide timely and personable responses to comments, messages, and inquiries
- Manage the cultivation of leads and sales from our online platforms
- Manage social media budgets effectively.
- Monitor trends, conversations, and user feedback to identify opportunities for engagement and improvement.
- Analytics: Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness and impact of social media campaigns, using insights to refine and recalibrate strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications to ensure we maintain a cutting-edge presence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or relevant field
Essential experience and skills.
- 2+ years of content creation and social media management experience
- Track record of growing social communities and developing content on social platforms (share links in application)
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and trends
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilise these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
- Excellent copywriting, creative and editorial skills
- Skills in video creation & editing
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) using digital editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Suite, Canva
- Experience with social management tools and analytics across channels and ability to summarise data into insights
- Self-driven and accountable with a high degree of ownership
- Highly positive attitude combined with great communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to details
- An insatiable desire to continously learn more
