Summary
The Accountant Clerk will be working closely with the finance and accounting department to support the day-to-day accounting documentation and data entry
Your responsibilities
- Providing support to the Finance Department.
- Writing, and preparing all types of accounting vouchers for data entry.
- Responsible to all accounting Data Entry to the respective Accounting platform ie Tally and the ERP.
- Daily scanning of completed accounting vouchers.
- Filling out all accounting documents
- Handling petty cash.
- Processing payment upon instruction, issuing cheques, and updating ledgers.
- Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
- Perform other tasks such as filing.
- Any other duty as may be assigned by the line manager.
Your profile
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree.
- Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
- Must have impeccable character and integrity.
- Must have an eye for details.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and beyond working hours.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Willingness to learn and further their qualifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work long hours and on holidays as and when required.
