UTCL is located along the Kampala Jinja highway near Lugazi municipal council in Buikwe district, approximately 48 kilometers from Kampala City and 40 Kilometers from Jinja opposite Mt ST Mary’s College, Namagunga.
Company Main Activities
The company mainly deals in the production of tea, where 80% of the sales are for the international market and the local market 20%. Made Tea is exported to Mombasa in Kenya to the Auction market with other tea companies around East Africa, and is sold thereafter. The company also deals with other activities, which include afforestation, coffee, cocoa, and Bananas.
UTCL produces over 3.5 million kilos of tea annually, 10% of Uganda’s national output

Job Summary

The role includes conducting pre-use inspections, performing minor repairs, logging fuel and mileage, and ensuring safe, efficient, and professional field operations in support of estate productivity.
Qualifications
- A minimum of Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent
- Should have a fair command of the English language.
- Valid driving license
- At least three years’ experience in the same role in a reputable organization
