Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Generate reports, inventories and orders in the Unit;
2. Generate budgets and account for use of physical resources of the Unit
3. Manage the use of laboratory equipment and facilities;
4. Requisition, maintain and account for financial and other resources;
5. Prepare and supervise students’ practicals;
6. Liaise with and provide support to the academic staff in the teaching of practicals;
7. Implement and maintain guidelines and regulations to ensure quality assurance, control and safety in unit;
8. Induct and mentor junior staff in the unit on technical skills;
9. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
BSc Electrical or Electronics Engineering;
Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Certificate in Industrial Wiring and Instrumentation is added advantage;
Must be a Computer Literate.
Experience
At least 3 years relevant working experience
Skills/Competences
i. Customer Care;
ii. Ability to communicate precisely and concisely;
iii. Analytical skills;
iv. Proficiency in using machines and computers.
