Assistant Engineering Officer

Responsible for the routine maintenance, structural inspection, and repair of civil and physical infrastructure to maintain safety, operational efficacy, and facility integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot structural defects and equipment malfunctions utilizing technical engineering principles.
  

• Carry out civil maintenance inspections and routine facility integrity checks.
  

• Conduct occupational health and safety inspections to promote full compliance with workplace building and environmental safety regulations.
  

• Coordinate civil maintenance interventions, update engineering logbooks, and collaborate across operational maintenance teams.
  

Person/Job Specifications:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building and Civil Works from a recognized institution.
  

Experience:

• Practical civil engineering experience in facility maintenance or construction will be an added advantage.
