Crowe Uganda is seeking a talented and ambitious Tax Senior to join its growing Tax & Regulatory Services team. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced managers and partners across a wide range of engagements — advisory, compliance, transfer pricing, tax audits, and dispute resolution — for professionals looking to deepen their technical expertise and take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and statutory filings
- Support tax advisory and structuring engagements
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation and reviews
- Analyse tax assessments and draft objection submissions
- Support tax audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters
- Conduct technical research and prepare reports, opinions, and client correspondence
- Liaise with the Uganda Revenue Authority and support junior team members
Qualifications and Experience:
- CPA(U), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation, or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant tax experience
- Practical exposure to tax assessments, audits, objections, and compliance engagements
- Sound knowledge of Ugandan tax legislation and IFRS fundamentals
