Crowe Uganda is seeking a talented and ambitious Tax Senior to join its growing Tax & Regulatory Services team. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced managers and partners across a wide range of engagements — advisory, compliance, transfer pricing, tax audits, and dispute resolution — for professionals looking to deepen their technical expertise and take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and statutory filings
  • Support tax advisory and structuring engagements
  • Assist with transfer pricing documentation and reviews
  • Analyse tax assessments and draft objection submissions
  • Support tax audits, investigations, and dispute resolution matters
  • Conduct technical research and prepare reports, opinions, and client correspondence
  • Liaise with the Uganda Revenue Authority and support junior team members

Qualifications and Experience:

  • CPA(U), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, Taxation, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant tax experience
  • Practical exposure to tax assessments, audits, objections, and compliance engagements
  • Sound knowledge of Ugandan tax legislation and IFRS fundamentals

Added Advantage:

  • Additional tax qualification
  • Transfer pricing experience
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment
