Job Description/Requirements

WORK LEVEL:

SHOP SALES ATTENDANT


THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

  • To control all movements of products in the shop including gas, cylinders, accessories and others.
  • To push sales of products to end users directly from shop.
  • To control all shop’s activities.
  • To create, and maintain shop’s customers’ database.


JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Ensuring customers are well served efficiently, and effectively based on the Company’s procedures.
  • To achieve sales targets set by the Company for the shop.
  • Control all movements (in and out) of gas, cylinders, accessories and other Company items in the warehouse/shop.
  • Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports on the stock movements and sends to Business Accountant at Head Office copying Sales Manager. 
  • Daily review of stock records to determine stock levels.
  • Maintain product cleanliness, and arrangement in the shop and good display of products outside the shop.
  • Comply fully with HSSE practices.
  • Comply fully with Company’s policies, procedures and standards.
  • Any other office related duties as may be assigned by the Superiors from time to time.


KEY RESULT AREAS:

  • Excellent customer service.
  • Properly maintained stock of the Company.
  • Proper office documentation.
  • All required reports on stock movement are produced.
  • All movements of gas, cylinders, and accessories are properly controlled.
  • Timely delivery of customers’ orders.
  • Fully compliant with HSSE practices.
  • Fully compliance with the Company’s policies, procedures, and standards.


SPECIFIC SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND/OR EXPERIENCES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • Minimum Certificate in any Business related field.
  • Minimum 01 year’s experience in sales and customer care services.
  • Sales knowledge and experience. 
  • Customer service skills.
  • Conversant with stock management.
  • Knowledge in Ms Office, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to handle work pressure.
  • High level of discipline and trustworthy.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Able to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations
