Job Summary
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all security operations within the organization to ensure the safety of employees, premises, and property. This role involves supervising, training, and evaluating security personnel; scheduling deployments; and enforcing disciplinary measures when necessary.

Job Description/Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities of a Security Supervisor.
- Supervise and oversee security functions in the organization.
- Train the security personnel.
- Make deployments and schedule programs of UTCL security guards
- Evaluate, asses and analyze the performance of UTCL security guards
- Provide security to UTCL employees, buildings and properties.
- Initiate disciplinary measures of the guards where necessary.
- Ensure the premises are kept free from all kinds of dangers.
- Ensure visitors are screened before allowing them into UTCL premises.
- Maintain all security devices and equipments in good working condition.
- Develop and implement preventive measures against accidents, thefts, and other risks.
- Ensure compliance of applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures.
- Restraining trespassers.
- Make reports and obtain help through regular and timely reporting of irregularities.
- Inspecting buildings, equipments, guard posts and access point.
- Informing violators of policy and procedures.
- Ensure smartness among security guards.
- Ensure and maintain the welfare of the security guards. Etc.
- Any Other Duty as May be assigned by Management.
Contract Terms
- Duration: 2years, renewable upon mutual agreement
Candidate Requirements
- Education qualification: Minimum of Ordinary Level Certificate (S.4)
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Age: 30–40 years
- Nationality: Ugandan
