Role Description The Sales Hunter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kampala, focused on driving new business and expanding the company’s customer base. The individual in this role will identify and pursue sales opportunities, build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, and present suitable loan and finance products. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting, scheduling and attending client meetings, explaining product features and eligibility criteria, and guiding clients through application processes. The Sales Hunter will also work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely follow-up, and high standards of customer service, while meeting or exceeding set sales targets and reporting on performance.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills, with demonstrated ability to generate new business and meet sales targets.
- Customer relationship management and communication skills, including the ability to build trust, handle objections, and provide clear product information.
- Basic financial literacy and understanding of credit or lending processes, preferably within microfinance or related financial services.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset, with strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools, and ability to prepare simple reports and maintain accurate records.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Previous field sales or financial services experience in Kampala or surrounding areas is highly beneficial.
