Position Summary:
Provide healthcare to women of childbearing age, including prenatal care, childbirth education, and other tasks as assigned.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Labor Support: Monitor progress and provide emotional guidance.
- Postnatal Care: Ensure health of mother and baby, including feeding support.
- Prenatal Care: Conduct antenatal assessments.
- Health Screening: Offer periodic screenings.
- Transfer of Care: Facilitate referrals to other facilities.
- Family Planning: Promote family planning and proper nutrition.
- High-Risk Pregnancies: Identify and refer to specialists; provide health education.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Midwifery
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar busy role.
