Marketing Manager
Job summary
Pacific Computers is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead and execute all aspects of our marketing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing integrated marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services, increase brand visibility, and support sales growth across multiple branches. This role requires multitasking, adaptability, and the ability to operate seamlessly across Kampala and Jinja.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Develop and implement the annual marketing strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Plan and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, and direct marketing).
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Build and strengthen the company’s brand presence across all platforms.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, proposals, and presentations.
- Maintain consistency in brand messaging and identity across branches and campaigns.
- Manage the company’s website, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and social media presence.
- Create content and lead campaigns that drive engagement and generate qualified sales leads.
- Use CRM and digital tools to track campaign performance and optimise strategies.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to align marketing strategies with revenue objectives.
- Prepare promotional materials, offers, and campaigns that drive sales and customer retention.
- Participate in client meetings and product demonstrations when required.
- Plan and coordinate marketing events, tech expos, product launches, and workshops.
- Represent the company at industry events and build relationships with external stakeholders.
- Manage media relations, press releases, and partnerships that enhance brand visibility.
- Provide marketing leadership and support to both Jinja and Kampala branches.
- Travel regularly between branches to oversee campaign rollouts and marketing consistency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in IT, Telecom, or tech-related industries.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience working in both urban and semi-urban business environments is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
- Strong creative and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, self-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Flexibility to transition between Kampala and Jinja locations as needed.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
- Office-based with regular travel between Kampala and Jinja branches.
- Occasional weekend or evening engagements for events or campaigns.
