LOAN OFFICER
Job summary
We are seeking motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused Loan Officers to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for sourcing potential clients, assessing loan applications, monitoring loan repayments, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Identify and recruit potential borrowers.
- Assess customer loan needs and recommend suitable products.
- Process and follow up on loan applications.
- Monitor repayments and portfolio performance.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Provide quality customer service and financial guidance.
- Achieve assigned sales and portfolio growth targets.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
- Good communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
- Experience in microfinance, banking, SACCOs, or related financial institutions is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be a confident rider and possess a valid riding permit.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in sales, lending, microfinance, banking, or customer acquisition roles.
- Candidates with experience in loan portfolio management will have an added advantage.
