Laboratory Technician - Chemistry

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

 The applicants should preferably hold a Diploma in Chemistry qualifications from recognizedUniversity/Institutions

 The applicants must be computer literate with skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, andInternet applications.

 At least one (1) year post-graduation experience

Receive samples and prepare them for analysis as they come from sample receptionaccording to Standard Operating Procedures

 Monitor and maintain Laboratory records up to date, such as the sample submittal forms,sample book and certificate book as required by Quality Management Systems of ISO 17025and ISO 9001

 Clean and decontaminate where necessary laboratory apparatus and ensure cleaned (andsterile) glassware is available at all times

 Ensure that distilled water is available in the laboratory and placed in appropriate containers

 Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory and assist in sample preparation

 Ensure routine maintenance of the laboratory including cleanliness, servicing and repair ofequipment
