Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced IT Support Technician is a critical responsible for hands-on daily execution of all Information Technology and communication systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliable operation, security, and integrity of the company's hardware, software, network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN), servers, and surveillance systems. This role requires a high degree of technical skill, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication.

Job Description/Requirements
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly experienced IT Support Technician is a critical responsible for hands-on daily execution of all Information Technology and communication systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliable operation, security, and integrity of the company's hardware, software, network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN), servers, and surveillance systems. This role requires a high degree of technical skill, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar hands-on IT support and administrative role.
- Networking: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, LAN/WLAN protocols, and firewall management.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments and common desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11, macOS).
- Backup Solutions: Proven experience with enterprise-grade backup software and recovery procedures.
- Security: Basic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience managing anti-virus/anti-malware solutions.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Responsibilities
1. Network and System Administration
- Network Management: Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the company’s Local Area Network (LAN) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points.
- Firewall & Security: Implement, manage, and monitor firewall and security systems to protect the corporate network from internal and external threats.
- Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain all corporate servers (e.g., domain controllers, file servers, application servers) ensuring optimal performance and stability.
- CCTV & Surveillance: Design, set up, and maintain the CCTV surveillance system, ensuring proper camera functionality, recording, and storage.
2. Data Management and Security
- Data Backup & Recovery: Establish, implement, and routinely test comprehensive server backup and recovery procedures to minimize data loss risk.
- Email Backup: Manage and maintain email backup and archiving solutions to ensure regulatory compliance and data availability.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan for critical IT systems.
3. End-User Support and Hardware
- Software & Hardware Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, proprietary software, and standard applications on all end-user workstations.
- Peripherals Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and other office peripheral devices.
- Technical Support: Provide first and second-level technical support to all staff, resolving issues related to hardware, software, network access, and email.
4. Strategy and Procurement
- Provide technical input for future IT strategy and budgeting.
- Manage IT asset inventory and vendor relationships for procurement of new hardware and software.
