Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Network Management – Overseeing installation, configuration, and maintenance of network systems.
  • Security & Compliance – Implementing cybersecurity measures and ensuring data protection.
  • System Monitoring – Tracking network performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Data Management – Ensuring accurate storage, retrieval, and protection of organizational data.
  • Technical Support – Assisting employees with IT-related concerns and system access.
  • Policy Implementation – Developing IT policies to align with industry standards and regulations


Qualifications: Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ Prior work in IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, and network security is often required
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with knowledge of information technology.


Technical Skills:

  • Networking & System Administration – Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting networks, servers, and operating systems.
  • Cybersecurity & Data Protection – Implementing security protocols, firewalls, and encryption to safeguard data.
  • Database Management – Handling SQL, cloud storage, and data retrieval systems.
  • Programming & Scripting – Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and system optimization.
  • Cloud Computing & Virtualization – Managing AWS, Azure, or VMware environments.
  • Troubleshooting & Technical Support – Diagnosing and resolving IT issues efficiently.
  • Cybersecurity Awareness – Understanding ethical hacking, penetration testing, and risk assessment.
  • Automation & Scripting – Using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to streamline IT processes.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning – Developing backup strategies to prevent data loss.
  • Soft Skills – Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

  • Conflict Resolution – Handling workplace disputes.
  • Employee Engagement – Boosting morale and productivity.
  • Talent Development – Training and workforce planning.
  • Project Coordination – Managing admin across multiple sites.
  • Time Management – Prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Safety & Compliance – Ensuring OSHA and labor law adherence.
  • Procurement – Managing supplier contracts and negotiations
  • Cloud Computing – Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable network solutions.
  • Virtualization – Managing VMware or Hyper-V environments for efficient resource allocation.
  • IT Project Management – Overseeing system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.

 

Reporting Structure:

The Admin and HR Manager will report directly to the General manager and collaborate closely with general staff/ emplyees and other members of the company’s team.
