Requirements
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- HR or hospitality certification is desirable.
- 5-7 years HR management experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan labor laws, immigration processes, tax compliance, and cultural practices.
- Proficiency in HR Information systems
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment ensuring timely hiring aligned with hospitality standards.
- Manage workforce planning based on seasonal and occupancy needs.
- Oversee onboarding, induction, and staff culture integration.
- Develop and implement annual training plans and service excellence programs.
- Drive the hotels performance management framework and KPIs.
- Manage payroll accuracy, compensation, and statutory compliance (NSSF, PAYE).
- Handle disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and staff welfare programs.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Uganda labour laws and hotel HR policies.
- Implement HRIS systems for attendance, leave, and staff records.
- Guide HR budgeting, succession planning, and manpower cost control.
