Company Description

Umoja Community Foundation (UCF) is a community based organisation based in the Nakivale refugee settlement, Uganda. UCF was registered in 2022 and has a number of developing projects in agriculture, water purification, entrepreneurship, mental health, and leadership.

UCF has a very positive vision for the development of refugee settlements, and you can have a role in our work.

We are looking for volunteers with networking skills, social media or other, in each of Europe, Australia, and North America. Please don't respond if you are living in other regions.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role for Fund Raising, conducted fully remotely. The volunteer will assist with networking opportunities to promote projects for fund raising. The volunteer will set their own pace of work however a minimum of 2 hours per week routinely will be necessary to be successful at the work.

Qualifications

• Experience with social media platforms
• Experience with networking and conversation
• Is self-directed
• Motivation to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
• Able to provide weekly attention to project promotions
• Attend monthly meetings for project briefings
