Job Description for Finance Manager

Best Ceramics Uganda Limited was established in Uganda since 2016, headquartered in Kampala plot 130-138 and 140-148,7th street industrial area and affiliated to Sunda International group of company founded in 2000 in Guangzhou China. The company deals in various products under Building Materials (BMMC), Fast Moving Consumable Goods (FMCG) and Household/Hardware Material (HHMC).

 We are in need of a Finance Manager with 5 years of experience working in an IPO company, trading company, or manufacturing industry as a Finance Manager/supervisor or Auditor

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Tax Planning and coordination by following up on all issues related to taxation.

Review monthly and annual financial reports

Review all tax information and documents submitted externally

Arrange and organize the annual external audit

Establish and maintain public relations with related government agencies.

Provide training for Account staffs

Define job roles and do the work assignments and also define the work procedures

Assess the team members’ monthly performance and train the team members to improve their performance.

Ensuring procedures policies legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with.       

Cooperate with the audit project leader to implement various implementation plans

Cooperate with the financial audit of the branch office internal control audit

Execute inventory program

Execute inquiry procedure

Execute field observation data review data analysis program

Record, and cooperate with the implementation of the rectification plan.

Cooperate with the implementation of various internal and external monitoring works.

Other duties arranged by Account Dept. Manager

Education, Professional & Work Experience

The candidate must at least have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) or above

Years of work experience (More than 5 years’ experience in IPO Company, trading company or manufacturing industrial as Finance Manager/supervisor or Auditor.  

Industry experience (5 years)

 Good understanding of Uganda Tax Law

Professional Knowledge

Proficient (MS Excel)
