Key Responsibilities
1. Translation & Interpretation
Provide accurate translation of business documents, contracts, policies, and training manuals (Chinese <-> English).
Act as the lead interpreter for management during high-level meetings, site visits, and negotiations with suppliers or government officials.
Localize company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure clarity for local staff.
2. Operations Management
Team Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor local teams (e.g., Baristas, Logistics Staff). Handle recruitment, scheduling, and performance reviews.
Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store/project operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards, service levels, and hygiene regulations.
Financial & Inventory Control: Assist in budget planning, cost control, and inventory management.
Ensure the branch operates within budget.
Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate smooth communication between Chinese expatriate managers and local employees to foster a positive working culture.
Qualifications & Requirements
Language Proficiency: Native/Fluent English and Fluent Mandarin Chinese (HSK Level 5 or above is highly preferred).
Must be able to read/write complex business documents in both languages.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Linguistics, International Trade, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role.
Experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B), Retail, or Logistics sectors is a plus.
Prior experience working with Chinese companies is a distinct advantage.
Skills: Strong leadership, cross-cultural communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work under pressure.
