Job Description DTB is looking to add an experienced, Business Intelligence Analyst (Data Analyst) to our growing team. This is a fantastic career opportunity for a proactive, highly motivated individual. Reporting directly to the Head Digital Applications, this role will involve working with the business units to support the business in discovering business insights using data visualization skills.Key Responsibilities :• Working with the business units to identify gaps in business insights and implement standard reporting and visualization of business insights.Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions.Utilize scripting skills to collect, analyse, and interpret large data sets and work closely with business users.• Provide technical guidance in creating lucid and effective reports/dashboards and interpretation of analysis results to various business units.• Working with the data team to establish metrics and measures on data impact on the business.• Take ownership of all projects allocated to you, create and maintain the corresponding project roadmap, and proactively communicate the status of the project with all the stakeholders. Knowledge :Academic :• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent.Master’s degree in an IT/Quantitative or related field is an added advantage.Professional :• Proven working experience (3+ years) as a BI analyst preferably in the financial services industry.• Good experience with SQL databases, SQL (development and optimization), advanced Excel, and data architecture.• Good skills in report/dashboard development and visualization with modern BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.• Strong Data Modelling skills.• Python programming skills is an added advantage.• Ability to formulate data problems from complex business workflows.• Good command of the English language (oral and written).• Good planning, effective communication and presentation skills, ability to listen and influence.• Certifications in Cloud (Azure, AWS) is an added advantage.Experience in setting up complex ETL/ELT processes, involving relational and non-relational data.• Excellent problem solving and data analysis skills.Personal Competencies :• Team player who can collaborate with different business units.• Knowledge of business intelligence technologies and tools.• Understanding of data architecture.• Continuous learning mindset.
