On behalf of our client Microhaem Scientifics and Medical Supplies Ltd ( MHS), we are looking for a competent , skilled, and experienced Warehouse Specialist to work in Uganda

JOB TITLE : WAREHOUSE SPECIALIST

REPORTS TO : HEAD OF PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN

SUPERVISOR : WAREHOUSE ATTENDANTS/OFFICERS

JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Specialist will manage all aspects of the ware-house such as Receiving of Stock, Dispatching Stock and Storing of Stock by following the companyâs Warehousing procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Reporting Develop and review policies and SOPs relating to Warehouse Management. Responsible for the warehouse stock security and accountability. Participate in periodical inventory verifications & physical stock checks. Verifying credit note with physical return stock and timely process. Timely delivery of goods to customers with accuracy. Monitor and follow up on Proof Of Delivery (POD) Overseeing the loading and off-loading of containers within the stated period Ensure all the documentation such as Bin card, and GRN is prepared accurately in time to facilitate the smooth operation. Proper maintenance of the warehouse premises. Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area. Monitoring of stock arrangements as per FEFO method and issuing accordingly to customers. Perform other professional related duties as required

Qualifications & Experience

The applicant must hold a Bachelorsâ degree in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or equivalent course from any of recognized university At least three (3) + yearsâ experience in a similar role (familiarity with Medical Devices pharma products, or pharmaceutical companies is a must) Experience in computer packages such ERP, Inventory Management Systems, SAP, QuickBooks and Microsoft packages eg Excel, Ms word Proven analytical/quantitative skills including working with large datasets Must have excellent planning, organization, problem solving, negotiating, and decision-making skills. Ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & verbal. Adaptable to meet constantly evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment Be a team player with focus on improvement and a strong drive for results
