Job Summary:
The Delivery Driver will be responsible for delivering bakery products to clients, supermarkets, wholesalers and retail outlets in a timely and safe manner together with a salesperson. The role ensures accuracy in deliveries, maintains product quality during transport, and supports smooth distribution operations of the bakery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver bakery products daily according to delivery schedules and assigned routes.
- Ensure products are handled carefully and arrive in good condition (fresh, intact & hygienic).
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of delivery vehicle.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report mechanical issues immediately.
- Assist dispatch team in verifying delivery quantities and documentation before departure.
- Follow all traffic rules and company delivery protocols.
- Maintain professionalism and good customer service during delivery interactions.
- Inform management of any delivery challenges, route delays or client complaints.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid driver’s license with Class B
- Minimum 2 years experience as a driver
- Good knowledge of local routes and areas.
- High level of integrity and reliability.
