Job duties
- Prepare a wide variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, chapati, samosas, and donuts.
- Decorate and present pastries in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Ensure all items are baked/fried to perfection and served fresh daily.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking station.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and place orders as needed.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are strictly followed.
- Assist with developing new recipes and seasonal menu items.
- Maintain consistency in quality and portion sizes.
Requirements
- A certificate in Bakery or a related field.
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker.
- Ability to prepare both sweet and savory pastries and baked goods.
- Knowledge of dough preparation and baking techniques.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail in decoration and presentation.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Passionate about quality and customer satisfaction.
