Minlaton District School is seeking a passionate Design and Technology teacher to join our R-12 team from the beginning of 2027.

MDS is a connected R-12 school where students are known, supported and challenged. Our improvement journey focuses on evidence-informed teaching, improved achievement, learner agency, wellbeing and belonging, and authentic learning linked to community, culture, industry and future pathways.
This position will primarily involve teaching Years 6-12, with opportunities to explore R-12 flexibilities according to the successful applicant's strengths and the school's needs. The role offers scope to shape practical, creative and future-focused learning connected with local agriculture, trades, engineering, enterprise and community needs.
In addition to salary, this position attracts a country incentive allowance paid fortnightly. Teachers moving for their first country appointment are generally eligible for relocation assistance. Housing support and rental concessions are available through the Country Housing Service, and a one-off payment applies to a first permanent country appointment.
