Guided by faith and compassion, BBLM supports vulnerable children, youth, older adults, persons with disabilities, and refugee families facing poverty, displacement, and social exclusion. The organization provides holistic programs that address education, health, protection, livelihood, spiritual growth, and community resilience. BBLM’s mission is to empower individuals through education, mentorship, and practical support so they can experience love, dignity, and opportunity. Role Description The Media Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Kampala, responsible for planning, creating, and managing multimedia content that supports BBLM’s mission and programs. This role includes developing and executing media strategies for campaigns, coordinating social media and new media channels, and producing content such as videos, graphics, and written materials for online and offline platforms. The Media Specialist will document field activities and community stories, collaborate with program teams to highlight impact, and ensure consistent messaging aligned with BBLM’s values. Daily tasks also involve monitoring media performance, conducting audience and market research, maintaining media archives, and supporting events and outreach initiatives. The role requires close coordination with leadership, partners, and volunteers to strengthen visibility, advocacy, and community engagement.
