MBBS DOCTOR

Position Title:

Medical Doctor (MBBS)

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient consultations and clinical examinations.

Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.

Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes.

Request, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic test results.

Provide emergency and urgent medical care when required.

Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of practice.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.

Provide health education and preventive healthcare counseling.

Refer patients requiring specialized care to appropriate facilities.

Collaborate with nurses, laboratory personnel, and other healthcare staff.

Ensure compliance with medical ethics, professional standards, and healthcare regulations.

Participate in community health programs and health promotion activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized institution.

Completed internship training.

Valid medical registration and practicing license or eligibility for registration in Uganda.

Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

1–3 years of post-internship clinical experience.

Experience in primary healthcare, family medicine, or general practice.

Experience working in a private healthcare setting is an added advantage.
