Junior Human Resource Associate
Job descriptions & requirements
· Support recruitment, selection and onboarding activities.
· Maintain accurate, complete and confidential employee records.
· Assist in preparing employment contracts, letters, reports and other HR documents.
· Support attendance, leave and staff-information management.
· Assist with staff orientation, performance-management and employee-engagement activities.
· Support implementation of HR policies and procedures.
· Respond professionally to routine staff enquiries.
· Assist in arranging meetings, training sessions and staff-development activities.
· Prepare minutes, schedules, trackers and periodic HR reports.
· Work with Finance to support payroll preparation.
· Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial and Organisational Psychology from a recognised university, with at least one year of relevant HR or internship experience; or a Diploma in Human Resource Management with at least two years of relevant experience.
· Basic understanding of Ugandan employment practices and HR processes.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and professional email communication.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
