Export Manager – Commercial

Premier Foods Limited (PFL) is a leading food processing company in East Africa, manufacturing over 50 products under trusted brands such as Peptang, PEP and Orchid Valley. Our brands have served households since 1935 and continue to grow across regional and international markets.

We are seeking a commercially driven Export Manager to lead our international market expansion strategy. The role will drive export sales growth, strengthen distributor networks, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver profitable market development across priority territories.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute export market expansion strategies aligned to commercial objectives

· Identify and onboard new international distributors and markets

· Manage and grow existing export accounts to meet revenue and margin targets

· Prepare export forecasts and budgets

· Negotiate pricing, contracts and trade terms

· Ensure compliance with export documentation and international trade regulations

· Coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment

· Monitor export performance and provide market intelligence reports

· Manage foreign exchange exposure and oversee receivables collection

· Track global market trends and competitor activity

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade or related field

· MBA is an added advantage

· 5–7 years’ experience in export sales or international business, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing

· Strong knowledge of export procedures and international trade regulations

· Proven track record of growing international markets and delivering revenue targets
