Job summary

AKSO Groups Uganda Limited on behalf of its valued client wishes to recruit self-driven and competent Part-time debt collection officers to provide support to the company through communicating directly with customers with the sole purpose of collecting payments and resolving outstanding balances to ensure efficient and effective flow of work.

Min Qualification: Diploma Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 1 year Working Hours: Weekend Shift

Job descriptions & requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recovering company funds through making phone calls to remind its customers who borrow money through its mobile phone App
  • Liaising with customers about their queries and requests.
  • Guiding customers on how to make loan repayments using the mobile phone App
  • Identifying gaps in the system and recommending solutions
  • Keeping track of outstanding debts.
  • Planning a course of action to recover the company's funds.
  • Negotiating payoff deadlines and plans.
  • Following up on customers with arrears to ensure the repayments are entirely made.

 

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Certificate as a Minimum requirement
  • Proven experience as a debt collector
  • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and database
  • National ID

Salary

  • 12,000 per day 
  • Bonuses and other benefits attached, such as lunch, Airtime, and Data  

 

Working days

  • Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 
  • 8 am-5 pm

 

Working Station 

  • Office-based within Kitintale
